Instructions for Accessing MSDS' on Campus:
Click to access our eBinder on MSDSonline.
To see if there’s a product in our eBinder:
1. Click on the blue link that says “Products.” Here it shows you all the products we currently have in our eBinder. You can either search alphabetically by clicking the letter that the product name begins with or type in the product name (choose either full text, contains a match, or starts with). You can also choose if you want to put in the manufacturer or not. Then click “Search” to the right.
2. To look at the actual MSDS click the icon all the way to the left of the product in the “view” column.
If you are searching for a product in a specific department:
1. Click on the blue link that says “Locations.” Here it gives you a list of all the facilities and locations on campus.
2. If you just click on the Facility.
• Example: If you click Academic Affairs. It shows you all the products that we currently have in the Academic Affairs department.
• It also has a pull-down menu by the pages that says “Select a Location.”
Here we have divided Academic Affairs by rooms. You can choose a room and it will show you all the products we currently have in that room.
3. If you already know what room you’re looking for. You can click on the blue link under “Storage Location” to go straight to that room.
REMINDERS:
• There are several pages for each search you do, so make sure that you look at every page if you aren’t finding what you’re looking for.
• Every product is listed in alphabetical order. Some products have other information (such as numbers) in front of them that make them hard to find, so if you can’t find a product, try changing the options of: full text, contains a match, or starts with.
NOTE: The eBinder includes the msds that have or are being used on campus. To access an msds not listed on the eBinder, please contact Public Safety and Police Services for instructions for MSDSonline at http://msdsonline.com.
