Through the NMU Emergency Text Alert Program, you will immediately receive a text with information on what you need to know or do if a crisis situation happens on campus.

Police Shield In accordance with state and federal laws, it is mandatory that registered sex offenders taking classes, living or working at NMU report to NMU Public Safety. Michigan Sex Offender Website
Handgun  If you are visiting campus with a weapon and have a concealed weapon permit, you can register and store it at Public Safety and Police Services.

The Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act is a federal law that requires colleges and universities to disclose certain timely and annual information about campus crime and security policies, such as crime statistics, police activities reports and timely crime alert notices.
