| Police Academy Set to Resume |

The 2009 class of the NMU Regional Police Academy gets under way on May 3. The academy is a 16-week, 800-hour police training school designed to provide basic law enforcement training to in-service and pre-service recruits. The curriculum covers such topics as fitness training, firearms, precision driving, police tactics, defensive tactics, criminal justice, domestic violence and traffic enforcement. More details |
